Your dome away from home

The Minnedome at Lake View Domes is designed by Natural Spaces Domes. It is an exceptionally engineered geodesic structure known for its strength, energy efficiency, and livable layout. The dome’s 533 square feet of interior space are framed with 2×8 structural struts fitted with the NSD Super‑Lok metal connection system, creating a durable, high‑performance shell built to withstand the elements.

Its 8‑inch‑thick insulated walls and well‑sealed exterior panels mirror the original MinneDome’s high‑efficiency envelope, which uses pre‑cut ¾-inch plywood triangles and R‑50+ spray‑foam insulation to maintain steady temperatures year‑round. Inside, radiant‑heat floors and air conditioning keep the dome comfortable in every season of the high desert.

Lake View’s dome draws from the MinneDome’s livable tiny‑home philosophy—compact, functional, and beautifully open. Large windows frame the lake and mesas, filling the dome with soft natural light and a sense of calm spaciousness.
